Durch die Anwendung dieser ÖNORM soll sichergestellt werden, daß für die nachfolgenden Untersuchungen repräsentative Proben entnommen werden und vergleichbare Untersuchungsergebnisse sichergestellt sind. Sie ist nicht auf auf die Erfassung von rasch sedimentierenden und/oder aufschwimmenden Stoffen und von Grobstoffen und Schlämmen anzuwenden. Neben Begriffsbestimmungen wird auch ein Beispiel für ein Probenentnahme-Protokoll gegeben.
