Diese ÖNORM beschreibt ein Verfahren für die Bestimmung von Eisen in Wasser und Abwasser. Die Methode kann zur Bestimmung von Gesamteisen (direkt oder nach Aufschluß), von gelöstem Eisen [Summe von Eisen(II) und Eisen(III)] und von gelöstem Eisen(II) im Konzentrationsbereich von 0,01 mg/l bis 5 mg/l eingesetzt werden. Liegen höhere Konzentrationen vor, kann die Probe verdünnt werden.
