Diese ÖNORM beschreibt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung von gelöstem Silber in wenig belastetem Wasser, wie etwa Grundwasser, Trinkwasser und Mineralwasser, in Massenkonzentrationen von 0,0005 mg/l bis 0,01 mg/l. Die Meßlösungen werden in ein elektrisch aufheizbares Graphitrohr eines im Atomabsorptions-Spektrometer eingebauten Graphitrohrofens injiziert. Die Extinktion wird bei einer Wellenlänge von 328,1 nm gemessen.
