Die vorliegende ÖNORM enthält nur diejenigen Angaben, die in Werkstattzeichnungen neben den üblichen technologischen Angaben (Werkstoff, Wärmebehandlung und Härte) zur eindeutigen Kennzeichnung der Verzahnung geradverzahnter Kegelräder mit oktoidenförmigem Zahnprofil gemäß den ÖNORMEN M 6730-1 und -3 erforderlich und ausreichend sind. Die in der vorliegenden ÖNORM enthaltenen Angaben gelten für das fertige Kegelrad. Weitere Angaben können bei Bedarf hinzugefügt werden, wenn z. B. das anzuwendende Verzahnverfahren bzw. Herstellverfahren (z. B. Spritzgießen) oder Vereinbarungen über Prüfung und Abnahme dies erfordern.
