Die Prüfung des Innendruck-Zeitstandverhaltens gemäß dieser ÖNORM dient zur Feststellung, ob die zu prüfenden geschweißten Verbindungen aus Rohren und/oder Rohrleitungsteilen während der festgelegten Prüfdauer undicht wurden oder zu Bruch gegangen sind. Daran anschließend erfolgt ein Berstversuch mit Beurteilung der Bruchlage und des Bruchart. Für andere Bauteile kann die vorliegende ÖNORM sinngemäß angewendet werden. Zur Beurteilung der Güte einer Schweißverbindung können auch noch andere Prüfverfahren (siehe ÖNORM EN 12814 (alle Teile)) erforderlich sein.
