Diese ÖNORM beschreibt die Wälzlagerfett-Prüfmaschinen R0F und R0F+ sowie die Prüfverfahren für die Ermittlung der Fettgebrauchsdauer. Außerdem regelt sie die Auswertung der Prüfergebnisse. Die vorliegende ÖNORM enthält Verfahren zur Ermittlung der Fettgebrauchsdauer von Wälzlagerfetten bei unterschiedlichen Belastungen, Geschwindigkeiten, Temperaturen und mit unterschiedlichen Lagergrößen. Sie dient außerdem als Referenz für die Fettgebrauchsdauer/Schmierfristen bzw. für Forschungs- und Entwicklungsaufgaben in Bezug auf die Schmierfettherstellung.
