Diese ÖNORM beschreibt die Anforderungen und Prüfbestimmungen sowie die Gütesicherung für Betonschutzplatten (BSP). Abdichtungen mit Betonschutzplatten sind in all jenen Fällen konstruktive, kraftschlüssige, homogene Betonschutzmaßnahmen zum Korrosionsschutz und zur Abdichtung von Betonbauwerken, in denen feste, flüssige oder gasförmige (zB Radon) Medien abdichtungsseitig anstehen und erhöhte Betriebsbeanspruchungen, wie zum Beispiel durch Einsatz wassergefährdender Stoffe (zB Sickerwasser aus Deponien), Abrieb, Gefahr der Korrosion von Beton, Spannungsverteilung (erhöhte Spannung bei Temperaturwechsel), Druckwechsel (Wechselwirkung bei Sog/Druck), auftreten.
