Diese ÖNORM ist gemeinsam mit der ÖNORM EN 750 "Spielfeldgeräte - Hockeytore - Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren einschließlich Sicherheit" anzuwenden. Über die in der ÖNORM EN 750 festgelegten Anforderungen an Hockeytore hinausgehend, werden in dieser ÖNORM zusätzlich Anforderungen an ein freistehendes, kippsicheres Tor (Typ 3), das über keinerlei Bodenbefestigung verfügt, festgelegt. Bezüglich der Eigenschaften und Konstruktionsmerkmale von Toren des Typs 3, die nicht in dieser ÖNORM festgelegt sind, ist ÖNORM EN 750 anzuwenden.
