In Ergänzung zu den in ÖNORM EN 12196 festgelegten Anforderungen an Pferde und Böcke werden in dieser ÖNORM zusätzlich funktionelle Anforderungen an Pferde für das Schulturnen und Turnböcke und deren Abmessungen festgelegt.
