Sie ist anzuwenden auf Erstprüfungen und wiederkehrende Prüfungen von Anlagen für den Umgang gemäß §§ 6 und/oder 7 als auch bei sonstigem Umgang gemäß § 10 des Strahlenschutzgesetzes. Strahlenschutzprüfungen dienen der Beurteilung, ob in dem betreffenden Betrieb die bescheidmäßigen Auflagen und gesetzlichen Vorschriften eingehalten werden.
