Diese ÖNORM stellt ein Prüfverfahren zur Messung und Bewertung der visuellen Ablenkung eines Fahrers von der Fahraufgabe durch die Interaktion mit einem Fahrerinformations- und assistenzsystem (TICS) im Fahrzeug bereit. Diese ÖNORM bezieht sich auf die Interaktion eines Fahrers mit einer Funktion des TICS während der Fahrt auf einer Prüfstrecke. Außerdem legt die ÖNORM Grenzwerte fest, die ein TICS erfüllen muss um den Anforderungen dieser ÖNORM zu entsprechen. Das Verfahren dient zur Prüfung von Fahrzeugen der Klassifizierung M1 und N1 (gemäß § 3, KFG 1967).
