Diese ÖNORM ist anzuwenden für Leitern, die zur Standortveränderung mit Rädern, Rollen u. dgl. fahrbar eingerichtet sind und deren Betätigung am Einsatzort ausschließlich durch Menschenkraft erfolgt. Diese ÖNORM ist nicht anzuwenden für schienengeführte Leitern (Roll-, Regal-, Drehleitern), für Leitern, die selbstfahrend oder auf selbstfahrenden Fahrzeugen aufgebaut sind und für Feuerwehrleitern. Die Leitern sind für eine ruhende, lotrechte Höchstbelastung in Gebrauchslage durch eine Masse von 150 kg ausgelegt und dürfen eine maximale Podestgröße von unter 400 mm x 400 mm nicht überschreiten. Sie sind für die Benutzung durch eine Person bestimmt
