Diese Europäische Norm legt das Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Luftdurchlässigkeit von vollständig zusammengebauten Fenstern und Türen aller Werkstoffe unter Einwirkung von positiven und negativen Prüfdrücken fest. Die Prüfung erfolgt unter Berücksichtigung der Nutzungsbedingungen von Fenstern und Türen, die nach den Festlegungen des Herstellers und den Anforderungen der entsprechenden Europäischen Normen und der Regelwerke der Baupraxis montiert worden sind. Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für die Fugen, die zwischen dem Fenster- bzw. Türrahmen und dem Bauwerk liegen.
