Diese Europäische Norm legt zwei Verfahren für die Bestimmung der rissüberbrückenden Eigenschaften von Beschichtungsstoffen, Beschichtungssystemen und ähnlichen Produkten fest, die für mineralische Substrate und Beton vorgesehen sind. Die Norm gibt auch an, wie Beschichtungen nach ihren rissüberbrückenden Eigenschaften eingeteilt werden können. Das für ein bestimmtes Produkt oder System anzuwendende Prüfverfahren ist zwischen den Vertragspartnern zu vereinbaren.
