Diese Norm legt Anforderungen an Konstruktion und Leistungsvermögen von Naßalarmventil-Stationen und Verzögerungskammern in automatischen Sprinkleranlagen fest. Zusatzteile und Hilfeeinrichtungen für Naßalarmventil-Stationen und Verzögerungskammern werden in diesem Teil von EN 12259 nicht erfaßt. Diese ÖNORM enthält die Europäische Änderung A1:2001 und Änderung A2:2005 sowie die Europäische Berichtigung AC:2002. Unter Anderem wurden ein neuer Abschnitt 8, Anhang N, Anhang ZA und weitere Änderungen durchgeführt.
