Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an die Leistungseigenschaften und Prüfverfahren für den Einbau von Dünnen Asphaltdeckschichten in Kaltbauweise als Produkt für die Instandsetzung von Straßen und anderen Verkehrsflächen (z. B. Fußwegen und Fahrradwegen) fest. Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für kleine und nicht zusammenhängende Flächen Dünner Asphaltdeckschichten in Kaltbauweise von weniger als 500 m˛ (z. B. kleinere Reparaturen). Diese Europäische Norm ist nicht bei Dünnen Asphaltdeckschichten in Kaltbauweise anwendbar, deren Eignungsnachweis vom Auftraggeber stammt. Diese Europäische Norm ist nicht auf Dünne Asphaltdeckschichten in Kaltbauweise anwendbar, die im Hinblick auf Brandschutzbestimmungen in Tunneln eingebaut werden. Es wurden bisher keine derartigen Bestimmungen ermittelt und es liegt auch kein Verfahren für die Klassifizierung des Brandverhaltens vor.
