Diese Norm beschreibt ein Prüfverfahren zur Bewertung des Einflusses von Feuchtigkeit in Verbindung mit relativ hohen Temperaturen auf die typischen physikalischen Eigenschaften von beschichteten Textilien. Die Norm ist auf alle beschichteten Textilien anwendbar, für die die Langzeitbeständigkeit gegen Hydrolyse, die aus der Einwirkung von warmen Atmosphären mit hohem Feuchtigkeitsgehalt herrühren kann, beurteilt werden muss. Sie wird nicht für die Bewertung von Materialien empfohlen, die während ihres Gebrauchs in Wasser eingetaucht sind.
