Diese Europäische Norm legt ein UV-spektralphotometrisches Verfahren zur Messung von Xanthogenat für die Bestimmung geringer Gehalte von Rückständen an Dithiocarbamat- und Thiuramdisulfid-Fungiziden fest, die unter den beschriebenen Bedingungen Kohlenstoffsulfid freisetzen (zB Mancozeb, Maneb, Propineb, Thiram, Zineb). Diese Europäische Norm gilt für solche Stoffe, insbesondere in und auf denjenigen Lebensmitteln pflanzlicher Herkunft, für die niedrige Rückstandshöchstmengen festgelegt sind. Mit diesem Verfahren ist nur die Quantifizierung der ganzen Gruppe möglich, aber nicht die Identifizierung einzelner Wirkstoffe. Im Allgemeinen sind die Höchstmengen (MRL) auf Kohlenstoffsulfid bezogen.
