Weiters legt diese Norm fest, auf welche Weise sie handelsüblich bezeichnet werden, und gibt Prüfmethoden an. Sie schreibt Prüfverfahren vor, um ihre Überprüfung zu ermöglichen, und legt die Form der handelsüblichen Aufmachung der Bindegarne fest. Diese Norm legt nicht die Eigenschaften von Bindegarnen aus Polyolefin fest. Diese sind in DIN 906:1996 festgelegt. Diese Norm enthält folgende Abschnitte: - Definitonen - Kennzeichnung - Herstellung - Haupteigenschaften von Polypropylen-Bindegarnen für allgemeine Verwendung - Prüfverfahren - Prüfbericht - Aufmachung für den Verkauf.
