Diese Europäische Norm legt die Zusammensetzung, die Anforderungen an die Eigenschaften, Grenzabmaße und Formtoleranzen für nahtlosgezogene Rundrohre aus Kupfer und Kupferlegierungen für Wärmeaustauscher, Kondensatoren, Verdampfer und Entsalzungsanlagen fest. Diese Norm gilt für Rohre aus Kupfer und Kupferlegierungen im Maßbereich von 6 mm bis 76 mm Außendurchmesser und von 0,5 mm bis 3 mm Wanddicke. Der Ablauf der Probenentnahme und die Prüfverfahren zur Feststellung der Übereinstimmung mit den Anforderungen dieser Europäischen Norm sind ebenfalls festgelegt.
