Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an Korkmentunterlagen mit Linoleum-Cement als Bindemittel fest, die in Plattenform geliefert werden. Korkmentunterlagen werden zusammen mit Bodenbelägen zur Schalldämmung eingesetzt. Diese Leistung hängt daher von der Kombination von Korkment und dem eingesetzten Typ des Bodenbelags und auch von deren Installation ab. Um den korrekten Gebrauch von Korkmentunterlagen sicherzustellen, sollten die Anweisungen der Hersteller befolgt werden. ANMERKUNG: Spezifikation für mit anderen Bindemitteln hergestellte Korkunterlagen, siehe EN 12103.
