Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Kennzeichnungsschilder von Kesselwagen zum Transport von: - verflüssigten Gasen der Klasse 2 des RID, - Stoffen der Klassen 3, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 5.1, 5.2, 6.1, 6.2, 8 und 9 des RID. Komprimierte Gase sind in dieser Europäischen Norm nicht berücksichtigt worden. Diese Europäische Norm legt auch die Abmessungen und Befestigungen der Tankschilder und die verschiedenen Einzelheiten, die darauf eingetragen werden, fest. Die Anforderungen der RID müssen sich über widersprüchliche Anforderungen dieses Dokuments hinwegsetzen. Diese Norm gilt für neue Kesselwagen, die nach dem 1. Januar 2010 gebaut werden.
