Dieses Dokument legt ein Prüfverfahren für die Bestimmung der Glasübergangstemperatur (GTT –Glass Transition Temperature) von Polymeren mittels Differentialscanningkalorimetrie (DSC Differential Scanning Calorimetry) oder Differentialthermoanalyse (DTA Differential Thermal Analysis) fest. Dieses Prüfverfahren ist auf Polymere in körniger Form (Maschenweite kleiner als 60, 250 u, möglichst unter Vermeidung von Schleifwirkung) oder auf jede andere Herstellungsform anwendbar, aus der geeignete Proben entnommen werden können. Dieses Prüfverfahren ist bei der Annahme von Spezifikationen anwendbar. Dieses Prüfverfahren bestimmt das strukturelle Verhalten eines Polymers in Abhängigkeit von Temperatur- änderungen.
