Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt drei Prüfverfahren zur Charakterisierung der Verdichtbarkeit von Asphalten durch das Verhältnis zwischen Dichte oder Luftporengehalt und der mittels eines Schlagverdichters (Marshall-Verdichter), Gyrator-Verdichters oder Vibrationsverdichters aufgebrachten Verdichtungsenergie. Diese Europäische Norm gilt sowohl für im Labor als auch an der Asphaltmischanlage hergestellten Asphalt. Die Ergebnisse des Prüfverfahrens dienen zur Ergänzung der Ergebnisse aus der Konzeption des Asphaltmischgutes.
