Dieses Dokument legt zwei Prüfverfahren (Verfahren A und Verfahren B) für die Bestimmung der Empfindlichkeit gegenüber dem durch Spikereifen verursachten Abrieb durch Prüfung von zylindrischen Probekörpern aus Asphalt fest. Die Prüfverfahren sind für Asphalt mit Gesteinskörnung mit einer oberen Korngröße von höchstens 22 mm anwendbar. Die Prüfungen sind anwendbar für im Labor hergestellte Probekörper oder für aus Platten oder der Fahrbahnbefestigung entnommene Bohrkernproben.
