Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung des Kornverlusts von offenporigem Asphalt fest. Der Kornverlust wird anhand des Massenverlusts von offenporigen Asphaltproben nach Beanspruchung im Los-Angeles-Prüfgerät beurteilt. Diese Prüfung ermöglicht die Abschätzung des Abriebwiderstandes von offenporigem Asphalt. Die Prüfung gilt für im Labor verdichtete zylindrische Probekörper aus offenporigem Asphalt mit einer maximalen Korngröße von 22,4 mm. Sie spiegelt nicht die Abriebwirkung durch Spikereifen wider.
