Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Farbänderung weißer oder hellfarbiger Lederoberflächen fest, die von Klebstoffen und/oder ihren Basiskomponenten durch Migration von der Rückseite weißer oder hellfarbiger Leder auf deren Oberseite hervorgerufen wird. Diese Farbänderung kann entweder unmittelbar durch den Klebstoff selbst oder durch Klebstoffschichten auf Werkstoffen verursacht werden, die bei der Schuhherstellung verwendet werden, z. B. klebstoffbeschichtete, einbügelbare Futterstoffe, Schuhkappen, Verstärkungsbänder oder bereits geklebte Materialien.
