Dieser Teil der Norm beschreibt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Beständigkeit der Farbe von Farbmitteln in Kunststoffen durch Prüfung im Wärmeschrank unter definierten Bedingungen. Das Ergebnis der Bestimmung ist ein relativer und kein absoluter Wert. Das Verfahren wird hauptsächlich zum Prüfen von Farbmitteln in Polyvinylchlorid und in duroplastischen Kunststoffen abgewendet. Anhang A gibt die Prüfbedingungen für Polyvinylchlorid an.
