Diese Europäische Norm gilt, sobald die vorgesehene Anwendung der Zentrifuge den Gebrauch gefährlicher oder potentiell gefährlicher Mikroorganismen in biotechnischen Prozessen einschließt, oder wenn die Exposition des Beschäftigten oder der Umwelt gegenüber Mikroorganismen aus Sicherheitsgründen eingeschränkt wird.
