Diese ÖNORM beschreibt ein Gas-Flüssig-Chromatographie(GLC)/Head-Space-Verfahren für die Bestimmung von 1,4-Dioxan in Alkylethoxysulfatprodukten. Das Verfahren ist anwendbar auf Proben mit einer Konzentration an 1,4-Dioxan im Bereich von 5 mg/kg bis 100 mg/kg. Die Probe wird in ein Head-Space-Fläschchen eingewogen und mit Kalibrierlösung/Lösemittel versetzt. Das verschlossene Fläschchen wird in einen Head-Space-Probengeber gestellt und thermostatisiert, bis sich das thermische Gleichgewicht eingestellt hat. Nach Probenahme aus der Gasphase wird mittels termperaturprogrammierter GLC analysiert. Die Detektion erfolgt mit FID und die Quantifizierung wird entweder mit einem internen Standard oder mit dem Standard-Additions-Verfahren durchgeführt.
