Diese Europäische Norm definiert Benennungen und legt die allgemeinen Konstruktionsmerkmale von mobilen Podestleitern fest. Sie gilt für mobile Leitern mit einem Arbeitspodest mit einer maximalen Fläche von 1 m2 und einer maximalen Podesthöhe von 5 m, die zur Benutzung von einer Person bestimmt sind. Die maximale Höchstlast beträgt 150 kg, die sich aus dem Gewicht des Benutzers sowie möglichen Werkzeugen, Ausrüstungen und Materialien zusammensetzt.
