Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen an Asphaltmischgüter der Asphaltmischgutart Softasphalt fest, die für die Verwendung beim Bau von wenig befahrenen Straßen und Straßen geringer Festigkeit bestimmt sind. Softasphalt wird für Asphaltdeckschichten, Ausgleichsschichten und Asphalttragschichten unter kälteren Klimabedingungen verwendet. Die Mischgüter der Asphaltmischgutart Softasphalt werden auf Basis von heißem Bitumen hergestellt. Mischgüter, die Bitumenemulsionen und bitumenhaltige Materialien auf der Basis der Wiederverwertung vor Ort enthalten, werden durch diese Norm nicht abgedeckt. Diese Europäische Norm enthält Anforderungen an die Auswahl der Baustoffe. Sie ist in Verbindung mit EN 13108-20 und EN 13108-21 anzuwenden.
