Diese ÖNORM gilt für Schutzeinrichtungen und Abschlüsse mit einem Fenster, einer Balkontür oder einer Vorhangfassade, die in geschlossener (Schutzeinrichtung) oder ausgefahrener (Abschluss) Stellung eine Luftschicht enthalten, deren Dicke zwischen 15 mm und 300 mm annähernd konstant bleibt (Schutzeinrichtungen und Abschlüsse befinden sich parallel zum Fenster oder zur Fassade). Behandelt werden: Schutzeinrichtungen (Rolladen, Außenjalousie, Drehladen, Schiebedach, Jalousieladen, Faltladen, schiebbarer Faltladen), äußere Abschlüsse (Senkrechtmarkise, Fassadenmarkise, Wintergartenmarkise), innere Abschlüsse (Jalousie, Rollo, Vertikaljalousie, Faltstore) und Abschlüsse, die in der Verglasung enthalten sind.
