Dieser Teil der Normenreihe EN 13126 legt die Anforderungen an und Prüfabläufe für die Dauerfunktionsfähigkeit, Festigkeit, Schutzwirkung und Funktionsweise von Betätigungsgriffen fest. Dieses Dokument gilt für Drehkipp , Kippdreh- und Drehbeschläge für die Anwendung bei Fenstern und Fenstertüren. Betätigungsgriffe können auch bei anderen Öffnungsarten, z. B. bei Inline-Schiebefenstern, Kippschiebefenstern, Faltschiebefenstern, Schwingflügelfenstern und Wendeflügelfenstern, angewendet werden. Dieses Dokument ist nicht anwendbar auf: a) Betätigungsvorrichtungen und Türdrücker für Türfallen oder -schlösser (siehe stattdessen EN 1906); b) Betätigungsgriffe mit einer Grifflänge > 170 mm (siehe Bild B.1).
