Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt ein Laborprüfverfahren zur Aufbringung eines Stoßes auf eine auf einer Betonschwelle oder Gleisschwelle befestigten Schiene, wodurch die Stoßbelastung des Verkehrs auf einem Eisenbahngleis simuliert wird und die Messung der in der Schwelle eingeleiteten Spannung. Sie werden verwendet, um die Dämpfung von Stoßbeanspruchungen auf Betonschwellen und Gleisschwellen mit unterschiedlichen Zwischenlagen zu vergleichen. Diese Norm enthält ein Referenz- sowie ein Alternativverfahren. Das Prüfverfahren gilt für das vollständige Schienenbefestigungssystem.
