Diese Europäische Norm legt eine Prüfung zur Leistungsfähigkeit von beladenen Sammelsubstraten für Sammler für die einatembare, thorakale oder alveolengängige Aerosolfraktion und, als Alternative, eine Handhabungsprüfung fest, beide zum Prüfen von Substraten von Aerosolsammlern auf Transportverluste unter vorgeschriebenen Bedingungen zwecks Berechnung der erweiterten Messunsicherheit eines Mess-verfahrens nach EN 13205-1:2014, Anhang A. Die Transportprüfung schließt den Versand beladener Substrate auf dem üblichen Postweg ein, während bei der Handhabungsprüfung ein Schüttelgerät eingesetzt wird. Dieser Teil von EN 13205 gilt für alle Sammler, die für die gesundheitsbezogene Probenahme von Partikeln aus der Luft am Arbeitsplatz eingesetzt werden.
