Diese Norm legt spezifische funktionelle Anforderungen für 5 Typen von Trampolinen (siehe Abschnitt 3) und besondere sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen (siehe Abschnitt 4) zusätzlich zu den allgemeinen sicherheitstechnischen Anforderungen nach EN 913, die in Verbindung mit dieser Norm gelesen werden muss, fest. Diese Norm gilt für 5 Typen von Trampolinen für die Benutzung unter Aufsicht, wie in Tabelle 1 dargelegt. Sie gilt nicht für Trampolin-Bahnen für das Tumbling-Turnen, Trampoline und Minitrampoline im Heimbereich, Sicherheitsgurte oder andere Zubehörteile.
