Diese Europäische Norm legt die baulichen Klassifizierungen für bodenseitig eingebaute Luftdurchlässe (ATD) unter Beachtung ihrer möglichen Anwendungen und den folgenden damit verbundenen Verfahren zur Prüfung der Konstruktion fest: a) statische Prüfverfahren, b) Schlagprüfverfahren, c) dynamische Prüfverfahren. Diese Norm enthält keine Anforderungen bezüglich der Elektroinstallation von Podest-Doppelbodengeräten und entsprechenden Bauteilen. Anforderungen an aerodynamische und akustische Prüfungen von Luftdurchlässen werden in dieser Norm nicht behandelt. Die Norm legt keine Anforderungen an Simulationen bezüglich Abnutzungserscheinungen von Luftdurchlässen fest.
