Festgelegt sind die Anforderungen und die Meß- und Prüfmethoden für zwei verschiedene Typen thermoplastischer Schläuche, die für einen maximalen Arbeitsdruck von 1 MPa bzw. 2 MPa ausgelegt sind und die für die Gasversorgung für folgende besondere Anwendungen verwendet werden sollen: - Kleingeräte entsprechend EN 1326; - Luftansaugbrenner für Schweißen und verwandte Verfahren; - Kleinschweißverfahren für die Arbeit im Bereich von Juwelieren und Zahnärzten mit Ausnahme der Verwendung von Actylen; - Lichtbogenschweißen mit Schutzgas. Nicht verwendbar sind die Schläuche für Flüssiggas in flüssiger Phase. Hinsichtlich einer möglichen Verwendung der Schläuche für Wasserstoff ist der Schlauchhersteller zu befragen.
