Diese Europäische Norm legt das Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Wertes für den Feuchtigkeitszustand (MCV) von Gemischen fest. Mit der MCV-Prüfung ist die Eignung eines Gemisches für das Einbringen, Verdichten und Befahren zu bestimmen. In dieser Norm werden Prüfprinzip, erforderliche Prüfeinrichtungen, Prüfverfahren sowie Auswertung und Angabe der Ergebnisse beschrieben. Die Norm ist auf die Prüfung von Gemischen anwendbar, die im Laboratorium hergestellt werden oder aus der laufenden Produktion stammen sowie auf Gemische, die beim Verdichten leicht zu zerdrücken sind. Die Prüfungen sind für den Teil des Gemisches geeignet, dessen maximale Teilchengröße bis zu 22 mm beträgt.
