Diese ÖNORM legt ein beschleunigtes Laborverfahren zur Messung des Widerstands gegen das Eindringen von Kohlendioxid in Produkte und Systeme für die Instandsetzung nach ÖNORM EN 1504-3 (in Vorbereitung) fest. Das Verfahren beruht auf der Messung der Karbonatisierungstiefe der Probe in einer konzentrierten Kohlendioxidatmosphäre über einen festgelegten Zeitraum. Das Verfahren ist für die Beurteilung der Leistungseigenschaften von für die Instandsetzung verwendetem Einpressmörtel, Mörtel oder Beton ohne Schutzanstrich geeignet. Das Verfahren misst nicht den Widerstand gegen die Verringerung des pH-Werts, die bei der Absorption von anderen sauren Gasen auftreten kann.
