Diese Europäische Norm gilt für das nichtdruckausgeglichene Bodenventil und legt die Leistungsanforderungen, entscheidendenden Maße und Prüfungen fest, mit denen nachgewiesen werden kann, ob die Ausrüstung den Anforderungen dieser Norm entspricht. Die in dieser Norm beschriebene Ausrüstung ist zum Umfüllen flüssiger Erdölerzeugnisse und anderer gefährlicher Güter der Klasse 3 des ADR Europäisches Übereinkommen über die internationale Beförderung gefährlicher Güter auf der Straße (entzündbare flüssige Stoffe) geeignet, deren Dampfdruck bei 50 °C max. 110 kPa beträgt (einschließlich Ottokraftstoff) und die nicht als giftig oder ätzend eingestuft sind.
