Dieser erste Teil der Europäischen Norm 13331 legt Anforderungen an metallische Grabenverbaugeräte fest, die vollständig aus vorgefertigten Bauteilen zusammengefügt sind. Er enthält Anforderungen an Werkstoffe sowie die konstruktive und bauliche Ausführung und die Qualitätssicherung. Grabenverbaugeräte dienen dazu, die Stabilität von senkrechten Grabenwänden sicherzustellen und damit die Beschäftigten vor dem Einstürzen von Gräben zu schützen. Die Verwendungsanleitung liefert sämtliche erforderliche Angaben zum sicheren Einsatz von Grabenverbaugeräten.
