Dieser Teil von ÖNORM EN 1337 legt die Anforderungen an die Bemessung und die Herstellung von Topflagern für Betriebstemperaturen zwischen minus 40 Grad und 50 Grad C fest. Dieser Teil von ÖNORM EN 1337 gilt nicht für Topflager, die aus anderen Materialien als die in Abschnitt 5 aufgeführten bestehen. In Abhängigkeit von der Klimazone, in der sich das Bauwerk befindet, können die Lager für eine der folgenden Klassen der Mindestbetriebstemperatur (Mindestlufttemperatur im Schatten) bemessen werden: minus 25 Grad C oder minus 40 Grad C. Zur Aufnahme von Tragwerksverschiebungen können Topflager mit Gleitteilen nach ÖNORM EN 1337-2 kombiniert werden.
