Diese Europäische Norm legt allgemeine Anforderungen an allgemeine Prüfmethoden für Bauteile wie Rohre und Formstücke mit ihren jeweiligen Verbindungen für Einstiegs- und Inspektionsschächte sowie für Werkstoffe wie Mörtel und Chemikalien fest, die für die Renovation und Reparatur von Abwasserleitungen und -kanälen verwendet werden. Diese Abwasserleitungen und -kanäle werden als Schwerkraft-Entwässerungssysteme betrieben, wobei ein Druck von höchstens 40 kPa auftritt; sie sind im allgemeinen erdverlegt. Diese Norm dient als allgemeine Grundlage für die Ausarbeitung oder Überarbeitung von Produktnormen. Sie gilt nicht für die Bewertung von Produkten.
