Diese Europäische Norm legt sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen an Anordnung, Zugänglichkeit und Kennzeichnung für Anker-, Kupplungs-, Schlepp-, Verhol- und Festmacheeinrichtungen auf Fahrzeugen der Binnenschifffahrt fest. Fahrzeuge der Binnenschifffahrt werden entsprechend ihrem Typ, ihren Abmessungen, ihrem Verwendungszweck sowie den Gewässern, auf denen sie eingesetzt werden, mit Anker-, Kupplungs-, Schlepp-, Verhol- und Festmacheeinrichtungen ausgerüstet. Diese Norm gilt nicht für Sportboote nach Richtlinie 94/25/EG.
