Dieses Dokument legt Anforderungen für Werkstoffe, physikalische Eigenschaften und Leistungseigenschaften für einzelne Tanks aus blas- oder rotationsgeformtem Polyethylen mit oder ohne Verstärkung fest, die für die oberirdische Lagerung von Chemikalien außer Wasser und den Flüssigkeiten nach EN 13341 verwendet werden können. Dieses Dokument gilt nur für ortsfeste Tanks aus blas- oder rotationsgeformtem Polyethylen mit einem Volumen zwischen 400 l und 10 000 l, die atmosphärischen Drücken ausgesetzt sind. Ihre normale Betriebstemperatur übersteigt nicht 25 °C, jedoch können sie zeitweisen Temperaturschwankungen unterworfen sein. Für Tanks nach dieser Norm wird von einer beabsichtigten Lebensdauer von 10 Jahren ausgegangen. Dieses Dokument legt Prüfverfahren und Prüfungen für die werkseigene Produktionskontrolle fest.
