Diese Europäische Norm legt die Zusammensetzung, die Anforderungen an die Eigenschaften, einschließlich elektrische Eigenschaften und Grenzabmaße für gezogenen Runddraht aus Kupfer mit Dicken von 0,04 mm bis 5,0 mm zur Anfertigung elektrischer Leiter fest, die für die Herstellung von Stangen, isolierten Kabeln und Schnüren bestimmt sind. Diese Norm gilt für nicht verzinnte, verzinnte, geglühte oder hart gezogene Drähte und für einadrige oder mehradrige Drähte.
