Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des "Gesamt"-Stickstoffs in Bodenverbesserungsmitteln und Kultursubstraten fest. Mit dem Kjeldahl-Verfahren wird der Gehalt an Ammonium-N, Nitrat-N, Nitrit-N und organischem Stickstoff in Bodenverbesserungsmitteln und Kultursubstraten bestimmt. Stickstoff in N-N-Verbindungen, N-O-Verbindungen und in einigen Heterocyclen (besonders Pyridin) wird nur teilweise bestimmt.
