Dieses Dokument legt Anforderungen für vier Typen thermoplastischer, mehrlagiger (nicht vulkanisierter) Schläuche und Schlauchleitungen zur Förderung von Kohlenwasserstoffen, Lösungsmitteln und Chemikalien fest. Es legt Bohrungsdurchmesser von 25 mm bis 300 mm, Betriebsdrücke von 4 bar bis 14 bar und Betriebstemperaturen von -30 °C bis 150 °C fest. Der Schlauchtyp 1 ist geeignet für die Anwendung mit Gas. Die Schlauchtypen 2 bis 4 sind für Anwendungen mit Flüssigkeit geeignet. Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für Schläuche und Schlauchleitungen für: Bodenbetankung und Entleerung von Flugzeugen (EN ISO 1825); Zapfstellenschläuche (EN 1360); Ölbrenner (EN ISO 6806); Flüssiggas und Flüssigerdgas (EN 13766); Feuerwehrschläuche (EN ISO 14557); Offshore-Flüssigerdgas (EN 1474-2); Kühlkreisläufe (-).
